Raising Your Vibration: It’s Deeper Than You Think

One of the questions I hear most often is:

How do I actually raise my vibration?”

Many people assume the answer is found in meditation, crystals, affirmations, or spiritual practices. While those things can absolutely support your wellbeing, vibration is often much deeper than the practices themselves.

One of the biggest misconceptions about vibration is that it is something you achieve once and then maintain forever.

It isn’t.

Our energy naturally shifts throughout life. Some seasons feel lighter, clearer, and more aligned. Other seasons invite us into reflection, healing, growth, and deeper self-awareness.

Neither is inherently better than the other.

When people speak about vibration, they’re often describing the quality of energy we’re bringing into our lives through our thoughts, choices, actions, and relationship with ourselves.

It’s less about always feeling positive and more about becoming conscious.

A person with a “high vibration” isn’t someone who is happy all the time.

They’re not someone who never struggles, never gets triggered, or never has difficult emotions.

In many cases, it’s quite the opposite.

Often, a person with a healthy and balanced vibration is someone who has learned how to sit with discomfort, take responsibility for their choices, and meet themselves with honesty and compassion.

Because true growth isn’t found in avoiding our challenges.

It’s found in how we move through them.

This is one of the reasons shadow work can be such a powerful part of a healing journey.

Many of us spend years trying to become a better version of ourselves while avoiding the parts that hurt, feel uncomfortable, or seem difficult to face.

Yet those hidden wounds, fears, beliefs, and emotional patterns often continue influencing our lives whether we’re aware of them or not.

Shadow work isn’t about focusing on what’s wrong with you.

It’s about becoming curious about the parts of yourself that are asking for understanding, compassion, and healing.

Sometimes raising your vibration isn’t about adding more light.

Sometimes it’s about bringing awareness to what has been living in the shadows.

Another piece of the puzzle that often gets overlooked is energetic protection.

Not because the world is full of negative energy, but because your energy deserves care.

Just as we take care of our physical wellbeing, we can also learn to take care of our energetic wellbeing.

That may look like setting healthier boundaries, spending more time in environments that support your peace, grounding yourself when life feels overwhelming, or creating space to recharge after emotionally demanding situations.

These simple choices can have a profound impact on how we feel.

In my experience, raising your vibration rarely looks like a dramatic spiritual awakening.

More often, it looks like greater self-awareness.

It looks like responding rather than reacting.

It looks like trusting yourself a little more.

It looks like choosing honesty over avoidance.

It looks like giving yourself permission to heal instead of carrying everything alone.

And perhaps most importantly, it looks like becoming more aligned with who you truly are.

Because raising your vibration isn’t about becoming better than anyone else.

It’s not about being positive all the time.

It’s about becoming more conscious of the energy you’re creating, the choices you’re making, and the relationship you’re building with yourself.

The goal isn’t perfection.

The goal is growth, awareness, and alignment.

One choice, one lesson, and one step at a time. ✨
