Integration after Healing

Healing doesn’t end when the session ends…that’s where integration begins.

It’s one of the most important and most overlooked parts of healing.

After a deep energy healing session, your body, mind, nervous system, and energy field are all processing. You’ve opened something. Released something. Shifted something. And now… it needs space to land.

Integration is simply allowing that to happen.

It’s:

• letting your body feel

• letting your mind process

• allowing emotions to move

• giving your system time to recalibrate

Without integration, it’s easy to overwhelm your nervous system or fall back into old patterns.

I see this more often than you’d think.

Today I had a session with a woman who had just come home from a heart opening retreat. Her energy was all over the place, emotional spikes, everything sitting right at the surface. I could feel it instantly.

I asked her:“Hey what’s up, I feel you are very emotional, its as if I can touch your emotions on the outside?”I just got back home today from a retreat.

I asked her:“Did you ground after?”No.

“Did you shield yourself afterwards to protect your energies?”No, asked me what that was so I explained.

“Did they guide you through integration?”No.

So we started there.

Because healing doesn’t just happen in the session, it continues after.

Two of the most important things after receiving a Energy Healing session I always recommend is:

  1. Drink plenty of water, more than usual
  2. Listen to your body. If your body needs rest, then rest. If your body needs movement, move.

Sometimes integration looks like:

• being alone and resting

• journaling your experience

• crying, releasing, or feeling waves of emotion

• needing sleep or silence

• grounding in nature, the ocean, or your body

• it can also look like deep cleaning your house from clutter

• socializing for the first time in months

• re-organize your living room for more zen

Sometimes things surface hours, days, even weeks later. That doesn’t mean something is wrong, it means something is still moving.

I often explain it like this:

In a session, we clear and shift energy, like sweeping a dirty floor with the windows open. But afterwards, smaller particles of dust is flying around and when they land we have more sweeping to do, like layers continue to rise to the surface.

Integration is what allows those layers to fully move through.

It’s not optional.

Because it’s part of the healing.

That’s why I send a free integration guide to all my energy healing clients, so you feel supported not just during the session, but after.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, emotional, or “off” after healing work…you didn’t do anything wrong.

You just needed integration.

And if you want my integration guide, feel free to reach out, I’m happy to share it 🤍

Lots of love to you all

Kajsa
